Well, let me tell ya somethin’ ’bout these two gals, Chelsea Green and Britt Baker. They’re wrestlers, you know, like those folks on TV who jump around and pretend to fight. Only, sometimes it looks pretty real, ya know?
Chelsea and Britt: Way Back When
These two, they knew each other way before they got all famous on that AEW wrestling show. Yeah, AEW, that’s the one my grandson watches all the time. Anyways, back then, they were wrestlin’ in smaller places, like Meadville and Elizabeth, Pennsylvania. Places you probably never even heard of. Heck, *I* barely heard of ’em, and I lived near them parts my whole life!
They had this one match, a real barn burner they say. Folks called it “fire versus nice.” Don’t ask me why, sounds like somethin’ my chickens would do, fightin’ over a piece of corn. But I guess it was a big deal. Britt, she turned on Chelsea, which is a no-no in wrestlin’, I reckon. Like turnin’ your back on your neighbor when the barn needs raisin’.

She ain’t afraid to get her hands dirty, that’s for sure. Reminds me of my old Bessie, that cow could plow a field and still give ya a gallon of milk at the end of the day.
Britt even had some trouble with her health, somethin’ kept her out of the ring for a long time, near ten months they said. Chelsea, she was worried, bein’ a good friend and all. It’s good to have friends, ya know? Like havin’ extra hands when you’re canning peaches. But Britt, she’s tough, like an old rooster, and she came back strong.
Chelsea Green: From Jobber to Star
Chelsea, she had her own journey. She even showed up on that WWE show once, but they didn’t treat her right. Made her look like a fool, they did. Just threw her in there to lose. They call it a “jobber” I think. Like makin’ a good farmhand dig ditches all day instead of lettin’ ’em plant crops. But she didn’t give up. She kept at it, and now she’s a big star, just like Britt.
Friends Outside the Ring
Even though they fight in the ring, these two are actually friends. Can ya imagine that? Beatin’ the snot outta each other one day and then sharin’ a pie the next. Well, maybe not a pie, wrestlers probably gotta watch what they eat. More like sharin’ a protein shake, I guess. But the point is, they care about each other. It’s like me and Martha, we argue over whose tomatoes are bigger, but we’re always there for each other when the well runs dry.
Britt Baker in AEW and Beyond
Britt Baker, she’s a big deal in that AEW wrestling thing. They even got a whole group of folks online who just talk about her. Like a fan club, I guess. My grandson showed me, they got pictures and videos and all sorts of stuff. She even won some kind of championship belt. Must be heavy, that thing. Like carryin’ around a bucket full of watermelons.
And she still shows up at other wrestling shows, surprise appearances they call ’em. Keeps folks on their toes, I reckon. Like a fox in the henhouse, you never know when she’s gonna pop up. She was on some radio show too, talkin’ about wrestlin’ and such. Folks like listenin’ to her, she’s got a way of talkin’ that makes ya wanna listen. Not like that old preacher we used to have, he just put everyone to sleep.
