Well, let me tell ya somethin’ ’bout this “game pass hell divers 2,” or whatever them young’uns call it. I ain’t no fancy gamer, but I hear folks talkin’. Seems like a whole lotta fuss over whether you can get it on this “game pass” thingy.
First off, from what I gather, this Helldivers 2 ain’t on that game pass. Nope. Not a bit. And it ain’t likely to be, neither. See, it’s like this: Sony, they’re the big shots behind this game. They make that PlayStation thingamajig, and they ain’t in the habit of sharin’ their toys with Microsoft, who runs that game pass.
You wanna play Helldivers 2, you gotta cough up the dough for a PlayStation 5 or a computer. That’s the long and short of it. No shortcut with this game pass, no sirree. They say you can get it on your computin’ machine through somethin’ called “Steam.” Sounds fancy, but I reckon it just means you gotta buy it, same as if you was buyin’ a bag of sugar at the store.
Now, some folks, they were hopin’ it’d come to Xbox. Xbox is another one of them game contraptions, see? But it ain’t lookin’ good. Hear tell there was some rumors flyin’ around, but now some fella, a so-called “insider,” he says it ain’t gonna happen. So, if you got an Xbox, you might as well just forget about it. This Helldivers 2, it ain’t for you.
And another thing, this ain’t no game you can play by yourself, sittin’ in your room. You need that internet thingy, and you gotta be playin’ with other folks. They call it “online co-op.” Means you and your buddies gotta team up to shoot at them space critters or whatever it is you shoot at in this game. No playin’ offline, they say. Always gotta be connected. I guess that’s just how things are these days. Always needin’ to be connected to somethin’ or other.
So, if you’re itchin’ to play Helldivers 2, you gotta have the right tools. PlayStation 5 or a computer, that’s what you need. And that internet thing, of course. And don’t go thinkin’ you can sneak in with that game pass. Ain’t gonna happen. This here game is a Sony special, and they ain’t sharin’ it with nobody. You wanna play, you gotta pay. That’s the way of the world, ain’t it?
It’s like back in my day, if you wanted a good watermelon, you went to farmer McGregor’s field. You didn’t go to Mr. Johnson’s store hoping he’d magically have Farmer McGregor’s melons for free. Nope. Same goes for this Helldivers 2. You want it, you go to where Sony is selling it and that ain’t on game pass!
And from what I hear, this ain’t one of them games you can just pick up and play. Seems like it’s all about team work and strategy, like them soldiers on the TV shootin’ and yellin’ at each other. You gotta be talkin’ to your buddies, plannin’ your moves, and all that jazz. So if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ easy, this ain’t it. But if you’re lookin’ for a good time shootin’ stuff with your friends, well, then maybe this Helldivers 2 is worth all the fuss.
They also say something about needing PS+ to play which sounds like you gotta pay even more on top of buying the game. These games ain’t cheap now are they? Like paying for fancy cable back when there were only 3 channels and now you gotta pay for 1000 channels you’ll never even watch. They sure know how to get ya money these days.
Anyway, that’s all I know about this Helldivers 2 and that game pass. I ain’t no expert, but I listen to folks talk, and I can tell you this much: if you wanna play, you gotta do it the old-fashioned way. Buy the game, get your friends together, and get to shootin’! And don’t go lookin’ for no shortcuts with that game pass, cause you ain’t gonna find none. That’s as clear as mud, ain’t it?
So now you kids know the deal about Helldivers 2. Don’t come cryin’ to me if you can’t figure it out!
