Alright, listen up, y’all! We gonna talk about how to throw them big ol’ body slams in that UFC 4 game. You know, the kinda move that makes your opponent go thud and the crowd go wild? Yeah, that’s the one.

Now, I ain’t no fancy fightin’ expert, mind you. I’m just a regular person who likes watchin’ them fellas duke it out on the TV. But I done watched enough of them fights and fiddled with them buttons enough to know a thing or two about slammin’ folks. So, let me tell ya what I learned.
First off, you gotta get close to that fella. Can’t be slammin’ nobody from across the ring, now can ya? You gotta get in there, grab a hold of ’em, and make sure they ain’t goin’ nowhere. They call it “clinch control”, sounds fancy, but it just means holdin’ on tight like a tick on a dog.
- Wanna grab their leg? Go for that “single-leg takedown”. It’s like wrestlin’ a hog, gotta get low and yank hard.
- Want somethin’ stronger? Try gettin’ a good hold of their whole body, what they call a “body lock”. Wrap ’em up like a Christmas present, but instead of a bow, you gonna give ’em a trip to the floor.
Once you got a good grip, that’s when the fun begins. You gotta use your strength, your weight, everything you got, to lift ’em up and throw ’em down. It ain’t easy, mind you. These fellas in the game, they’re strong, they’re slippery, and they don’t wanna get slammed no more than a squirrel wants to get caught by a hawk.
Now, there’s all sorts of slams you can do. Some folks like them fancy “suplexes”, where they flip the other guy right over their head. Looks mighty impressive, but I ain’t never been able to pull that off too good. I prefer the good ol’ fashioned “body slam”. Just pick ’em up, and drop ’em down. Boom! Done and done.
But listen here, slammin’ ain’t just about throwin’ a fella on the ground. It’s about what you do after. If you just slam ’em and stand there, they gonna get right back up and punch ya in the face. You gotta be smart about it. When you slam ’em down, you gotta try to get on top of ‘em, what they call “positional control”. You wanna get in a good spot, like on their back “mount” or on their side “side control”. Then you can start punchin’ ’em, or tryin’ to make ’em quit with a choke or somethin’.
And don’t forget about them punches! You can’t just be slammin’ all day. You gotta mix it up. Throw some punches, get ’em tired, then when they least expect it, boom! Body slam! And when you’re punchin’, aim for the body. Them “body strikes”, they take the wind outta their sails, make ’em slow down. Makes it easier to slam ’em later on.
Now, learnin’ to slam good ain’t gonna happen overnight. You gotta practice. You gotta get a feel for it. You gotta try different things, see what works for you. And you gotta be patient. You ain’t gonna be slammin’ everybody left and right right away. But if you stick with it, if you keep practicin’, you’ll get there.
And one more thing, them controls in the game, they can be tricky. There’s buttons for punchin’, buttons for kickin’, buttons for grabbin’, and buttons for slammin’. You gotta learn ’em all, and you gotta be quick with your fingers. It’s like playin’ a piano, but instead of makin’ music, you’re makin’ fellas go thud.

So, there you have it. That’s my two cents on how to body slam in UFC 4. Go out there, practice them moves, and start slammin’ some folks. Just remember, it ain’t about bein’ fancy, it’s about bein’ effective. Get in there, grab ’em, and throw ’em down. And most importantly, have some fun doin’ it!
Just remember what I told you: Get close, grab tight, lift ’em high, and drop ’em hard. Now go get ’em, tiger!
