Well, lemme tell ya, this orange bowl opt outs 2023 thing, it’s a real head-scratcher. Lots of young fellas, football players, they ain’t playin’ in this here Orange Bowl game. They sayin’ “nope, not me” and just sittin’ it out. This year, 2023, it is big news, you know.

Heard some big names, these football stars, they ain’t gonna be there. One fella, from that LSU, a real good quarterback, they say. Name’s Jayden Daniels, wins lots of awards. Even he is saying no. Big stars, not showing up for these big games.

Why They Ain’t Playin’?

Now, why would they do that, you ask? Well, there’s a bunch of reasons, I reckon. Some of ’em are hurt, gotta rest up those bones. Others, they wanna go play for different teams, gotta find a new place, I guess. This orange bowl opt out thing, it’s cause they don’t want to play for their old school no more.

They got this thing called a “transfer portal”. Sounds like some kinda magic door to me. They step in, and poof, they’re somewhere else, playin’ for someone new. It’s all confusin’, but that’s what these young folks are doin’.

This Orange Bowl Thing

This Orange Bowl 2023, it’s supposed to be a big deal, you know. Lots of folks watchin’, lots of hollerin’ and cheerin’. But with all these fellas optin’ out, it ain’t the same. Like a pie with no fillin’. It just ain’t right.

  • They say this one team, called Troy, ain’t got nobody optin’ out.
  • But this other team, Duke, they got a couple, Aeneas and Brandon.
  • This Aeneas, he’s a big strong fella, plays on the line, they say.

And this Brandon, he’s fast, runs all over the field. But they ain’t playin’ in the Orange Bowl. They done gone through that transfer portal, lookin’ for somethin’ new, I suppose.

All These Teams, All This Fuss

It ain’t just them, neither. Lots of teams, lots of players, all doin’ the same. This other team Marshall. They ain’t even playin’ their bowl game, the Independence Bowl. Too many players said “no thanks” and went through that portal. Now another team, Louisiana Tech, they gotta step in and play instead. What a mess. And Florida State, playin’ against Georgia. Well, Georgia won, big time. Florida State, they had a lot of fellas optin’ out, too, I heard. Makes you wonder if that’s why they lost so bad.

It’s a Different Time Now

It’s a different time now. These college football opt outs things, back in my day, you played for your school, you played hard, you didn’t just up and leave. But these young’uns, they got different ideas. They’re chasin’ dreams, chasin’ money, I don’t know. It’s all beyond me, I just like watchin’ a good game of football.

This whole orange bowl opt outs 2023 situation, it’s just a sign of the times, I reckon. Things change, people change. Just gotta roll with the punches, I guess. But it sure does make it hard to keep up with who’s playin’ and who ain’t.

What’s It All Mean?

Don’t know what it all means for the future of this football. These 2024 college football players optin’ out, changin’ teams. This opt-out is a big deal. It is making big changes. Maybe it’ll settle down, maybe it won’t. Just gotta wait and see, I suppose. One thing’s for sure, though, it makes for a lot of talk around here. Everybody’s got an opinion on it, that’s for sure.

Well, I best be goin’. Got chores to do. But you keep an eye on this orange bowl opt outs thing. It’s gonna be interesting to see what happens next. You never know what these young folks are gonna do these days. Just gotta shake your head and keep on truckin’.

This all 2023 college football bowl game opt-out is making my head spin. I just want to see some good games, don’t care who is playing. I just hope they play hard, that is all that matters.
