Okay, so today I wanted to talk about Conor McGregor’s walk-around weight. I’ve always been curious about how much these fighters weigh when they’re not actively training for a fight. You know, their “normal” weight, so to speak.

Conor McGregor Walk Around Weight: How Heavy Does the Champ Get Between Fights?

So, first, I started digging around online, just trying to find some reliable info. It’s crazy how much conflicting stuff is out there! But after reading through a bunch of articles and forums, I found a recent report that said McGregor’s currently walking around at 180 to 200 pounds. I think it’s pretty believable.

Then I recalled that McGregor has fought in three different weight divisions in the UFC, right? Featherweight, lightweight, and welterweight. I went and checked the welterweight that up to 200 lbs on fight night, which sounds nuts to me. It’s wild how much weight these guys cut before a fight.

Poirier’s Weight

I also looked into Dustin Poirier’s weight, since he’s one of McGregor’s biggest rivals. Apparently, Poirier’s walk-around weight is usually between 175-180 lbs. I watched a few videos of Poirier, and yeah, he looks big, even when he’s fighting at 155. It all makes sense now, how he managed to take on all those opponents.

And another thing, when I read the news that McGregor’s sports company might be getting involved with Triller, the fight promotion. That’s a whole other interesting thing, McGregor isn’t just a fighter anymore, he’s becoming a businessman too.

My Own Weight

This all got me thinking about my own weight. I’m not a fighter or anything, but I do try to stay in shape. I usually walk around at about 210 pounds. I’m not ripped or anything, pretty soft to be honest. But yeah, it’s interesting to compare to these pro athletes, I realized that maybe I should do more exercises.

Conclusion

  • I read a report stating McGregor’s walk-around weight is 180-200 lbs.
  • I confirmed McGregor has fought in three weight divisions.
  • I found out Dustin Poirier’s walk-around weight is around 175-180 lbs.
  • I reflected on my own weight and how it compares.

Anyway, that’s my little deep dive into Conor McGregor’s walk-around weight. It’s just something I was curious about, and I thought I’d share my findings. It’s pretty amazing how these fighters can manipulate their bodies like that. Hope you found it interesting, this whole experience is pretty cool and I really enjoyed doing it!
