Okay, so yesterday, I tried to make this “crossfire ball” thing I saw online. It looked pretty cool, like a fireball with swirling flames, so I thought, why not give it a shot?

Crossfire Ball: Get the Ultimate Guide & Gameplay Tips!

First, I gathered all the stuff I needed. I grabbed some cotton balls, because, well, it’s a “ball,” right? Then I got some rubbing alcohol – that’s the fuel for the fire. I also made sure to have a lighter and a metal bowl, don’t do this with plastic, obviously. And, most importantly, I had a fire extinguisher nearby. Always be safe, folks!

I started by soaking a cotton ball in the rubbing alcohol. I made sure it was really saturated, dripping wet. This is key to get it burning properly. Then, I carefully placed it in the metal bowl.

The Tricky Part

Here’s where it got a little tricky. I wanted that “crossfire” effect, so I tried different method, finally I tried to light the cotton ball, and while it was burning, I very quickly rolled it around in the bowl. I mean, very quickly. Like, don’t even think about it, just roll it. My hands were practically a blur. My wife was in the kitchen saying I am a crazy guy!

  • Soak the cotton ball completely.
  • Light it in the metal bowl.
  • Roll it super, super fast.

I kept rolling it, and the flames started to swirl around. It actually worked! It looked like a miniature, contained fire tornado. I was pretty stoked. The alcohol burned off pretty quickly, so the whole thing only lasted for a few seconds, but it was enough to get that cool effect. It’s like a tiny, controlled explosion of fire.

After it burned out, I made sure everything was completely cooled down before I cleaned up. Safety first, always!

So, yeah, that was my attempt at making a crossfire ball. It was fun, a little bit nerve-wracking, but ultimately successful. Would I do it again? Maybe. It’s definitely something you need to be super careful with, but the effect is pretty awesome. It’s fun I think.
