Okay, so, today I decided to get my fantasy football league hyped up, and what better way than to come up with some killer team names? I’m a huge Bengals fan, so I wanted to brainstorm some Bengals-themed names. I fired up my laptop and got to work.
Brainstorming Time
First, I opened up a Google Doc. Gotta keep things organized, you know? I started by just free-writing anything that came to mind related to the Bengals. I wrote down player names, like Burrow, Chase, Mixon. Then I added some Bengals-related words: stripes, jungle, Who Dey, etc.
Then, I thought to combine the player names to some funny words.
Mixing and Matching
This is where the real fun began. I started combining words and phrases to see what I could come up with. I tried to be punny, I tried to be clever, and I definitely tried to be funny.
- I took “Burrow” and added “ito,” like a burrito.
- I combined “Mixon” with, well, anything that sounded remotely funny.
- I played around with “Chase” and phrases like “Chase the Dream.”
The Final List
After an a few hours of brainstorming and playing around, I have to say it is really fun and got a good laugh, I finally have a good list to share with my league.
I’m ready to dominate this fantasy season, not just with my team, but with my team name too!
