Okay, so I tried out this “President’s Trail” thing on Monopoly Go today. I’d heard some chatter about it and figured, why not? Let’s see what the fuss is about.
Getting Started
First thing I did was, obviously, open up the Monopoly Go app. The event popped up right away – couldn’t miss it. It’s got this whole patriotic, presidential vibe going on, you know, with the red, white, and blue banners and stuff.
Collecting Stuff…Again
So, the main thing is, you gotta go around the board and land on these special “Presidential” tiles. Every time you land on one, you collect some kind of points or tokens. Honestly, it felt like a lot of other events they’ve done – just roll the dice and hope for the best. I did notice the pick-up tiles had a Eagle symbol.
The Milestone Grind
Like always, there’s a list of milestones you gotta hit. Each one gives you some kind of reward – dice rolls, cash, those sticker packs. I pushed through the first few pretty quick, but you know how it is, it gets harder and harder the further you get. I started out using my x1 multiplier, but realized quickly I should go higher and managed to reach x200.
- I landed on a bunch of the special tiles in a row at one point – that was cool. Got a nice little boost of points.
- Then I hit a dry spell. Kept landing on everything but the tiles I needed. Super frustrating!
My Progress (So Far)
I’ve managed to snag a few of the early rewards. Got a decent amount of dice rolls back, which is always good. I’m not sure if I’ll make it all the way to the end, though. It’s gonna take a lot of time, and, let’s be real, a lot of luck.
Final Thoughts (For Now)
It’s…okay. It’s Monopoly Go. If you like the game, you’ll probably enjoy this event. It’s not groundbreaking or anything, but it’s something to do. I’ll probably keep chipping away at it, see how far I can get. That’s the thing about this game. There are always things to do and I like the challenge of these events.
