Okay, so I wanted to figure out who’s gonna win between Thiem and Shelton. I’m no expert, just a guy who likes tennis and wanted to make a guess.
First, I looked up both players. I mean, I’ve heard of Thiem before, he was like, super good a few years back, right? But lately, not so much, I think because of injuries or somethings. And Shelton, he’s the young new face, seems powerful.
My “Research” (aka Googling)
I started by, you know, just Googling around.
- Checked their recent match results. Thiem, he’s been, well… losing a lot. Shelton, he’s been doing better, having some wins here and there.
- Looked at some “expert” predictions. Most of them were leaning towards Shelton, for obvious reasons.
Putting it Together (My Guess)
So, based on my very basic checking, I figured Shelton’s got the edge. He’s young, he’s playing ok right now, and Thiem… well, he’s not in his best form, sadly.
I decided to, kind of, “bet” on Shelton. I mean, with myself. Just say “I predict Shelton will win”.
The Result
I watched the match, and wow I’m right! Shelton actually won! I’m not saying I’m a genius or anything, it was pretty obvious, with Thiem struggling, and Shelton did good job.
It was fun to try and predict, though. Maybe I’ll do it again for another match. But, I am not a pro, so keep on your mind!
