Alright, so I got curious about who’s lugging the bag for Corey Conners the other day. Wasn’t some big research project, just, you know, watching some golf, and the thought popped into my head. Who’s that guy?
First thing I did, naturally, was just punch it into a search bar on my phone. Quick look, right? Saw the name Danny Sahl coming up quite a bit. Seemed straightforward enough. Figured, okay, that’s the dude.
But then, things got a little fuzzy. I kinda remembered seeing maybe a different face alongside Conners not too long ago? Or maybe I read something somewhere else? It started bugging me, like when you can’t remember the name of that actor.
Digging a Bit More
So, I spent a bit more time looking around. Went past the first few results. Started seeing mentions of another guy, Kyle Peters. Okay, now I’m thinking, what’s the deal? Does he have two guys? Do they switch off?
- Checked some older tournament reports.
- Looked at some fan forums, see what people were saying.
- Tried finding interviews where maybe Conners mentioned his caddie.
Turns out, yeah, Peters had been on the bag before, filled in I guess. But Sahl seems to be the main man, the regular guy walking the fairways with him now. It wasn’t like some big conspiracy, just the usual changes that happen out there on tour. You know how it is, players and caddies, sometimes they stick together forever, sometimes they switch things up.
So, after poking around for maybe 15-20 minutes longer than I expected, I got my answer sorted. It’s mostly Danny Sahl these days. Just took a little extra effort to clear up the confusion I had in my own head. Kinda silly, but hey, at least now I know.
