Then, I took the plunge and signed up for one of her programs. I chose the one that focused on building strength and leaning out. I figured that was a good starting point for me. Cost me a pretty penny, I ain’t gonna lie, but I was determined to make it work.

The first week was rough, man. Sore muscles I didn’t even know I had! Her workouts are no joke. Plus, I had to completely revamp my eating habits. Out went the junk food, in came the lean protein, veggies, and all that “good stuff.” It was a shock to my system, for sure.

But I stuck with it. I followed her meal plans (with a few tweaks here and there, because, you know, gotta live a little!), and I dragged myself to the gym (or did the home workouts, depending on the day) even when I really didn’t feel like it.

Around week four, I started seeing some real changes. My clothes were fitting better, I had more energy, and I was actually starting to enjoy the workouts! I even started posting progress pics on my own Insta – something I never thought I’d do.

I kept logging my food, tracking my workouts, and following Amanda’s advice. She really emphasizes consistency, and I think that’s what made the biggest difference for me. There were days I slipped up, of course, but I just got back on track the next day. No beating myself up about it.

By the end of the program, I was feeling like a whole new person. I lost some weight, gained some muscle, and, more importantly, I felt strong and confident. It wasn’t just about the physical changes, either. I felt like I had more mental clarity and a better overall sense of well-being.

Here’s the nitty-gritty:

  • The diet: High protein, moderate carbs, healthy fats. I focused on whole, unprocessed foods and tracked my macros using MyFitnessPal.
  • The workouts: A mix of strength training and cardio. Lots of compound exercises like squats, deadlifts, and bench press. I tried to workout 4-5 times a week.
  • The biggest challenge: Staying consistent when life got in the way. Travel, stress, social events – all threw curveballs. But I learned to adapt and find ways to stay on track.
  • The biggest takeaway: It’s not about perfection, it’s about progress. Little changes add up over time.

Would I recommend Amanda Silva’s programs? Yeah, I would. But I think it’s important to go in with realistic expectations. It’s not a magic bullet. It takes hard work and dedication. But if you’re willing to put in the effort, you can definitely see results.
