Okay, so you guys know I’m a huge boxing fan, right? Especially Canelo. I always get hyped for his fights, and a big part of that is his walkout. It’s epic! So, I decided to try and recreate a little piece of that magic for myself, you know, just for fun.
First thing’s first, I needed the music. I spent ages searching for the exact version they use, sometimes it changes. Downloaded it, made sure it was loud and clear. Gotta have that powerful intro, you know? Sets the whole mood.
Next up was the outfit. I didn’t want to go full-on Canelo, couldn’t pull that off anyway, haha. But I did grab a simple red hoodie. Canelo usually rocks red, and it felt right. Found some black athletic pants, comfy but still looked a little sporty.
Now, here’s where it got a little silly. I tried to find a Mexican flag to drape over my shoulders like he sometimes does. Couldn’t find one locally, so I just used a big red blanket I had. Close enough, right?
The hardest part? The walk itself. Canelo’s got this slow, deliberate swagger, like he owns the place. I practiced in my living room, trying to match his pace and confidence. Let me tell you, it’s harder than it looks! I felt like a total goofball.
I even tried to get some friends to be my “entourage,” but they just laughed. Fine, I did it solo. Cranked up the music, put on the hoodie, draped the “flag” and started walking. Slowly. Deliberately. Trying not to trip over the rug.
Did it look anything like Canelo’s walkout? Probably not. Did I feel ridiculous? Absolutely. But you know what? It was actually pretty fun! It got me pumped up, put a smile on my face. I even threw a few shadow punches at the end, just for kicks.
Look, I’m not saying everyone should try this. But if you’re a fan and want a little boost of energy, give it a shot. Just don’t take yourself too seriously. It’s all about having fun and channeling your inner champ!
Here’s a little breakdown of the steps I took:

- Find the music: Search for “Canelo walkout song” on YouTube or Spotify.
- Choose your outfit: Red is a good starting point. Think sporty and comfortable.
- Practice the walk: Slow, deliberate, confident. Watch videos of Canelo’s walkouts for inspiration.
- Embrace the silliness: Don’t be afraid to look a little goofy. It’s all part of the fun.
- Enjoy! Crank up the music and let loose.
I might even try this again before his next fight. Maybe I’ll even get that Mexican flag this time!
