Okay, so, today I wanna talk about something kinda cool I stumbled upon in Genshin Impact – specifically, how I finally cracked open that locked common chest on Yashiori Island. Man, that thing had been taunting me for weeks!
It all started when I was just running around, exploring as usual. I remembered seeing this chest, clearly locked, near the Musoujin Gorge area. At first, I thought, “Eh, just another chest, probably need some random key.” But then I noticed something was different. There were these three Electro Seelie courts nearby, unlit. That’s when I knew it was puzzle time.
So, first thing I did, naturally, was pull out my trusty Razor (because, Electro!). I started hunting around for the Electro Seelies themselves. One was pretty obvious, chilling right next to a broken-down house not too far from the chest. Zapped it, and boom, it started moving towards its court. Easy peasy.
The second one was a little trickier. I remembered seeing some Electro crystals nearby, so I started smashing them. Eventually, after breaking a few, the Seelie popped out and made its way home. Getting warmer!
Now, the third one… that’s where things got interesting. I searched everywhere, and I couldn’t find it. I was about to give up when I noticed this Electrogranum plant thingy. I figured, what the heck, let’s try it. Grabbed the Electrogranum, and then I saw it – an Electro Seelie floating high up in the air above a Ruin Guard! It was being guarded by the Ruin Guard. Defeated the Ruin Guard and got the Seelie.
With all three Seelies guided back to their courts, a mechanism activated. I ran back to the chest, and whaddya know, the lock disappeared! Opened it up and got some Mora, some artifacts, and a few Adventure EXP points. Nothing crazy valuable, but the satisfaction of solving the puzzle was worth it.
Honestly, it wasn’t the hardest puzzle in the world, but it felt good to finally get that chest open after having it marked on my map for so long. Moral of the story: always pay attention to your surroundings in Genshin. Those little Electro Seelies can be hiding in the weirdest places!
