Okay, so, the Bears game. I wanted to watch it, right? So first I had to figure out when it was.
I grabbed my phone and did a quick search. Turns out the game was scheduled for Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. That’s Eastern Time, which is important to remember.
Next, where to watch it? Another search. It showed the game would be on CBS. Great! I have that channel.
Then I learned that the guys calling the game would be Ian Eagle and Charles Davis. They are pretty good, I like them!
I also saw that if I didn’t have cable, I could watch it on something called Paramount+. I don’t have that, but it’s good to know.
Other games were mentioned too. One was going to be on FOX, another on ESPN for Monday Night Football, and another one on NBC for Sunday Night Football. I even saw something about Peacock for streaming, which is neat.
I made a mental note that one of the games was a Thanksgiving game, which is always a big deal. That one was going to kick off the Thursday games. Nice!
- Checked the game time.
- Found the channel.
- Noted the commentators.
- Discovered streaming options.
So, I was all set! Game time, channel, everything. Just had to wait for Sunday.
There was also a mention of a game being broadcast “regionally”, which I guess means not everyone can watch it. And something about “Northwest Stadium”, which I’m not familiar with, but it’s probably where one of the games is played. Also, there was talk about a 7:15 p.m. CT game, which is Central Time. They really do play all over, huh?
Anyway, I just wanted to share my little adventure in getting ready for the Bears game. It’s not rocket science, but sometimes it feels like it with all these different channels and times!
