Okay, so I saw this picture of Matt Riddle with this wild, new hairstyle, and I just had to try it out myself. I mean, the guy’s always got some interesting looks, but this one was next level. I figured, why not? Let’s have some fun with it.

Matt Riddle Debuts Shocking New Hair! (See the Photos and Videos That Broke the Internet)

Getting Started

First, I had to get my hair ready. I washed it, conditioned it, the whole nine yards. My hair’s naturally kinda wavy, but not like Riddle’s in the picture. His was more like… structured chaos, you know?

I grabbed my trusty hair dryer and started rough-drying my hair. I used my fingers to kind of scrunch it up and get some volume going. I didn’t use a brush at this point, just wanted to get it mostly dry but still a little damp for styling.

The Styling Part

This is where the magic (and a lot of hair product) happened. I used some sea salt spray that I had lying around. Sprayed it all over, focusing on the roots to get that lift. Then, I took some strong-hold pomade – a good dollop – and warmed it up between my palms.

I started applying the pomade, making sure to get it evenly distributed. I was going for that messy, textured look, so I ran my fingers through my hair, twisting and pulling sections to create those defined, spiky bits.

  • Washed and conditioned my hair.
  • Rough-dried it with a hair dryer, no brush.
  • Sprayed sea salt spray for volume and texture.
  • Applied strong-hold pomade, twisting and pulling hair to create spikes.

The Finishing Touches

Once I was happy with the general shape, I used the hair dryer again, this time with a diffuser attachment. This helped to set the style without blowing it all over the place. I used my fingers to make any final adjustments, pulling up a few more strands here and there for that extra bit of wildness.

Finally, I finished it off with a good blast of hairspray to lock everything in place. And there you have it – my attempt at Matt Riddle’s new hairstyle. It was a fun little experiment, and I think I pulled it off okay. Not an everyday look for me, but definitely something different!
