Checking the Official Sources
First things first, I headed over to the official websites. You know, the usual spots:
- The MLS official website: I figured these guys would have the info as soon as it was released.
- Philadelphia Union’s official website: Sometimes the teams announce it there first.
- D.C. United’s official website: Same as above, I gotta cover all my bases!
I spent a good amount of time refreshing these pages. You know how it is – waiting for news to break. Nothing yet.
Diving into Social Media
Since the official sites were a no-go at first, I figured, “Hey, let’s see what’s happening on social media.”
- I went straight to the X, formerly known as Twitter. I use to search for the both team’s handle, and some keywords like “#PHIvDCU”, “#Lineups”, that sort of thing.
- Then I jumped on to other social media.
I scrolled through a bunch of posts, and you know a few hints here and there. Some people guessing, some “insider” rumors, but nothingsolid.
Finally got it.
After I spend about a few hours, finally got it, from both teams official X account, and I also double-checked with the websites. Great!
