Next, I considered the playing styles. Are they both offensive-minded teams, or do they play defensively? Do they like to possess the ball, or do they counter-attack? I watched a few YouTube highlight reels of their recent games to get a feel for this.

- Cape Verde looked a bit more direct and reliant on quick breaks.
I also thought about where the game is being played. Is it a neutral venue, or does one team have home advantage? That can be a big factor. I found out it was, a neutral location.
Making My Prediction
After all that, I started weighing everything up. Slovenia’s generally higher ranking and more controlled style made me think they’re the favorites. But Cape Verde’s potential for quick counter-attacks means they could definitely cause an upset.
Finally, I made my prediction. I’m going with a narrow Slovenia win. My guess is 2-1. It’s just a feeling, based on everything I looked at. I’m definitely not a professional, but it’s fun to try and figure this stuff out!
