Man, figuring out Lane Kiffin’s salary was a bit of a rabbit hole! I wanted to know how much the Ole Miss coach was making, so I started digging.
My Search Process
First, I hit up the usual sports news sites. You know, the big names. I figured they’d have the info right at the top, but no such luck. It was all articles about his contract, but not the actual number.
Then, I tried some more specific searches, like “Lane Kiffin Ole Miss contract details”. That got me a little closer. I found some articles mentioning his previous salary and the extensions he’s signed, but still not the very lastest number for sure. It was a real mess finding that number.
I started seeing mentions of a base salary and then all these extra incentives – bowl game appearances, SEC Championship wins, National Championship wins, even things like team GPA! It’s crazy how many ways these guys can earn extra cash.
