Alright, settled in today and decided to finally track down that specific trashcan in Honkai Star Rail. You know the one, the ‘Lordly Trashcan’ tied to the ‘A Child’s Dream’ achievement. Heard folks talking about it, figured I’d document how I got it done, nice and simple.
Getting Started
First thing, I had to warp over to the right place. This whole thing happens in Belobog, specifically the Administrative District. So, popped open the map, selected the nearest space anchor, and zipped over there. Gotta start somewhere, right?
The Hunt for the Can
Once I loaded into the Administrative District, I started looking around. Now, I remembered vaguely it was near the theatre place, the Golden Theater. So I headed in that general direction. There are quite a few trashcans scattered about, gotta give them that. Belobog seems tidy.
I started interacting with a few near the theatre entrance. You just walk up and hit the interact button. Got the usual funny trashcan lines the game has. But not the specific one I needed. Took a bit of wandering back and forth. It wasn’t immediately obvious which one was the ‘special’ one.
Then I found a particular cluster of trashcans. I think it was sort of tucked away, maybe near some stairs or a corner? Hard to recall the exact spot now, but it felt a bit separate from the others right on the main path. I clicked on one of them.
The Payoff
Okay, here’s the important part. Interacting once isn’t enough. You gotta keep doing it. Talk to the trashcan multiple times. Seriously. Just keep hitting that interact prompt.
I clicked it, got some dialogue. Clicked again, more dialogue. Did this maybe three, four, five times? Can’t remember the exact count. The dialogue changes a bit, tells a little story, about dreams and stuff. Fitting, I guess.
And then, after enough persistence, the achievement ‘A Child’s Dream’ just popped up on the screen. That’s how you know you got the right one, the Lordly Trashcan. Felt kinda funny, putting all that effort into talking to some pixels shaped like a bin, but hey, an achievement’s an achievement.
So yeah, that was my little adventure today. Go to the Administrative District, find the special trashcan cluster near the Golden Theater, and just keep talking to it until the achievement fires. Simple as that, really. Just needed a bit of patience and clicking.
