Alright, let’s talk about this fella, McGregor, and all them tattoos he’s got all over himself. I ain’t no expert or nothin’, but I see ’em, and I figure I can tell ya what I see, ya know?
First off, this McGregor fella, he’s got more ink than a newspaper, I swear. Seems like every time I see a picture, there’s somethin’ new on him. Makes ya wonder if he ever sits still long enough for them tattoo folks to finish their work!
Now, one of the first ones they talk about is this Arabic writin’ on his heel. Yeah, his heel! Can ya believe it? Who gets a tattoo on their heel? Musta hurt like a son of a gun. Anyways, this fella, he says he don’t even know what it says. Can ya imagine? Gettin’ somethin’ permanent put on ya, and ya don’t even know what it means? Kids these days, I tell ya.
Then there’s this tiger tattoo on his belly. Now, that’s somethin’ I can understand. A tiger, that’s strong, that’s fierce, that’s somethin’ to be reckoned with. Just like McGregor, I guess, when he’s in that fightin’ cage. He roars and he claws and he don’t give up easy. That tiger, it fits him.
- Heel Tattoo: Arabic writing, meaning unknown. He got it when he was young and reckless, like young folks do.
- Stomach Tattoo: A big tiger. Means he’s tough and strong, I reckon.
- Chest Tattoo: A gorilla wearing a crown. Says he’s the king, I guess. Gorillas are strong too, so maybe it’s like the tiger.
- Back Tattoo: A big cross with some vines and stuff. Maybe he’s a religious fella, or maybe he just likes the look of it. Who knows?
And that gorilla on his chest, wearin’ a crown like he’s the king of the jungle. Well, McGregor, he kinda is the king of his jungle, that fightin’ world of his. He struts around, he talks big, and he backs it up most of the time. That gorilla, it’s like him sayin’, “I’m the boss, y’all.” Loud and clear.
He’s got a big cross on his back too, with all sorts of vines and leaves and whatnot around it. Now, I ain’t sure what that means. Maybe he’s a church-goin’ man, maybe he ain’t. Some folks get crosses just ’cause they look nice, ya know? It’s kinda like wearin’ a cross necklace, I guess, only this one ain’t comin’ off.
Then there are all them other little tattoos all over the place. Names, dates, little pictures… it’s hard to keep track of ’em all. Each one probably means somethin’ to him, a memory, a person, a feelin’. Tattoos are like that, ya know? They’re stories written on your skin. And McGregor, well, he’s got a whole book written on him, it seems.
Some folks, they don’t like tattoos. They say they’re trashy, they say they’re a waste of money, they say all sorts of things. But me? I figure, if a person wants to get a tattoo, that’s their business. It ain’t hurtin’ nobody. And if it makes ’em happy, or if it helps ’em remember somethin’ important, then more power to ’em. McGregor, he seems like the kind of fella who does what he wants, and if he wants to cover himself in ink, well, that’s his right.
So, there ya have it. That’s my take on McGregor and his tattoos. A bunch of ’em, all over the place, some big, some small, some meanin’ somethin’, some maybe not. But they’re part of him now, part of his story. And that’s all there is to it.
I still can’t believe he got that first tattoo on his heel though. Makes me wonder what he will get next. More animals? More words? Only time will tell I guess.
Anyways, that’s enough of me talkin’ about this fella’s tattoos. I gotta go make some supper now. All this talk about fightin’ and ink has made me hungry!
